What We’re About
Connecting with another human on a visceral level – where you both feel fundamentally known and safe – is a rare and powerful thing. We’re not taught how to do this, and often we’re taught the opposite - that opening up to others is to open oneself up to mockery and pain.
We (Patrick & Jessi) have both lived long stretches of our lives profoundly disconnected from society. We’ve both struggled with deep loneliness, addiction, depression, and a general sense of not having a place here.
But we’ve also made some really awesome progress, and learned an incredible amount as we’ve figured out how to feel more connected and happy.
We’re here to tell our stories, and share the key tools we’ve picked up along the way.
Our goal is for anyone who reads this to feel a little more understood and a little less alone.
I’m intrigued. What next?

One last thing
We are writing about our personal experiences because we value accessibility of information and want to share the resources we’ve found in hopes that something will be helpful to someone along the way.
But sometimes, navigating the depths of yourself can have you feeling a little in over your head…
So please consult with a licensed professional for further guidance if you find yourself needing some extra support. 🧡
